Our Training Program Offers

Typically, candidates should be knowledgeable in electrical installation and electrical science. Completion of a 17th edition course is essential, especially since the introduction of the 3rd amendment in January 2015. This course primarily targets practicing electricians and domestic installers. However, it also appeals to various other related trades seeking to refresh and expand their understanding of the IET Wiring Regulations. All participants must be at least 16 years old.

Course Modules Overview

The 1-day 18th Edition course primarily emphasizes updates since the third amendment to the 17th edition and guides on navigating the latest blue book. You won’t memorize every regulation, but you’ll learn to reference the latest regulations as required in practical scenarios. Topics currently included in the course are:

Scope, object, and fundamental principles

Assessment of general characteristics – Protection for safety
Selection and erection of equipment – Inspection and testing
Special installations or locations
Appendices
